On June 8 2019, at the Ritz-Carlton in Montreal took place a dual foundation for Arcade Fire’s Haiti relief foundation KANPE and Toronto based Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ). Together, they raised over $250,000. The most sought after bids were private dinners by Chef Paul Toussaint of Montreal restaurant Agrikol. On that same night, Arcade Fire was awarded by APJ for their great work in Haiti with KANPE, co-founded by bandmate Regine Chassagne.
